General Manager/PGA Director of Golf
Greg came to Hurricane Creek in 1990 as our Head Golf Professional and in 1996 became General Manager and Director of Golf assuming responsibility for all Club operations. He is a PGA professional as well as a member of the Club Managers Association of America. Greg played four years of college golf at the University of North Texas where he was captain of the golf team and was twice named All-Conference. Greg is married to a beautiful wife he adores, and they have three sons.
PGA Head Golf Professional
Jim Stalder has been in the Golf Business since 1987 - and has been a member of the P.G.A. since 1992. He stresses the importance of Customer service for the members and their guests. Jim competes in the N.T.P.G.A. tournaments, and has participated in two P.G.A. Tour Byron Nelson Classic events - as well as a Long Drive competitor for fifteen years. He started his tenure as Head Golf Professional in January 2004. Jim is married and has two boys.
PGA Assistant Golf Professional
Shane came to Hurricane Creek in 2013 after working at Bent Tree Country Club in Dallas as a PGA Apprentice, as well as a short stint of trying to play professional golf in between his employment. He received his election to the PGA of America in September of 2016 as well as becoming a Level 1 Certified Trackman instructor. Shane played four years of collegiate golf at The University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley (formerly UT-Pan American) where he was once named All-Conference as well as a Cleveland/Srixon golf Academic All American. He thoroughly enjoys working with juniors who have aspirations of playing at the high school and collegiate level, and also spends a majority of his time fitting members into the best possible set of clubs for their particular needs and desires.
PGA Lifetime Member
Alan is currently a PGA Lifetime Member after leaving Canyon Creek Country Club, where he was Director of Golf for 23 years. Prior to that he served as Head Professional and a teaching pro for several clubs and facilities. Alan enjoys teaching and working with juniors, seniors, and beginners.
